Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)

A mind-body approach to support women living with Functional Neurological Disorder

Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) can be an overwhelming and often misunderstood experience, where real, distressing neurological symptoms arise without a clear structural cause. You might be navigating fatigue, tremors, fainting episodes, numbness, movement difficulties, or episodes that look like seizures.

I offer gentle, trauma-informed psychological support for women living with FND. Our therapy time is integrative with emotional and body based regulation that invites you to slow down and reconnect with your nervous system in a way that supports both the body and the mind. Using a compassionate, polyvagal-informed lens, my therapy approach focuses on understanding how stress, past experiences, and nervous system dysregulation may contribute to symptoms, not as blame, but as a key to relief.

Together, we explore nervous system healing, body-based mindfulness, emotional regulation, and psychoeducation to support symptom management and nervous system safety. This approach does not push or force, it honours pacing, attunement, and deep rest.

If you're living with FND and longing for a holistic approach that listens to your story, your body, and your lived experience, I welcome you here.
